About Me
With over three decades of dedicated service to Boone County, I am running for County Commissioner to ensure our community’s unprecedented growth is managed with transparency, foresight, and a deep understanding of our local values.
My life’s work has been centered on leadership, education, and community development. For the past 31 years, I have been a high school teacher in our community, helping to educate and shape the next generation of leaders. Alongside my teaching career, I have devoted just as many years to coaching wrestling and football, serving in both assistant and head coach capacities. These experiences have taught me the critical importance of teamwork, discipline, accountability, and the power of working together to achieve shared goals.
My commitment to Boone County runs deep. My wife and I have proudly called this community home for 30 years, raising our two daughters here and embedding ourselves in the fabric of Boone County life. I am a graduate of Wabash College and hold a Master's degree in Counseling, a background that has provided me with the skills to listen, understand diverse perspectives, and find common ground.
As your County Commissioner, my priority will be to foster a more open and accountable local government. I believe that as we move forward into this new era of growth, we need transparency in our county government to ensure that every resident has a voice and that decisions reflect the best interests of all Boone County citizens. My experience in building strong teams and navigating complex situations makes me uniquely qualified to tackle the challenges and opportunities that lie ahead.
I am eager to continue my service to this community—not just as an educator or a coach, but as a dedicated public servant. I ask for your support and your vote to help build a transparent and prosperous future for Boone County.
